Who is #Baaghi and what for, can somebody explain?

Verdict: 1 /5start

What a brilliant kick by the producers of Baaghi?  Is this called a commercial film, which has no story, no convictions, nothing? Five pages of script twisted into more than two hours of abysmal stupidity, purely dump in many ways. I am not writing a review of this laggard flick, what I am doing is to crying my anger out through few sentences.  Actually Indians desperately needs full fledge action movie to come-out with long suppressed catharsis, it’s not just a need; it’s a kind of psychological demand of human kind. I have been watching Hollywood for so long, after making some issue based films they suddenly throw you with some good action movies to break ones fixity and that’s how they use some kind of science for their people. But In our cinema they follow the running trends, they really do not want to bother, their intuitions are more on distracted axis rather than scientific.

Baaghi born in an absolutely right time, when all are struggling with so many agendas, questioning right or wrongs, hiding our self into the crevice of rough passage. In my view we all need Amitabh Bachchan of 1975, who represented the berserk population, fought against larger than life thought. Carrying all such abstract contemplation in my mind I went to theatre just to evacuate my long oppressed emotions but its like falling from sky and hanging in the midst, All old fashioned storyline, without any proper base, swinging one corner to another, searching for plots, which is so simple, like writer gave evil a kind of power through martial art, the protagonist has to destroy his fiefdom to save his gal after becoming unbeatable.

Tiger Shroff has many things in his belly but he needs to work on acting line which is totally missing, the only credit I want to give to the maker Sabbir Khan who clearly understood this so he cut down all dialogues and gave him an ironic laugh which is similar to Hrithik and it was so unnatural that I couldn’t gulp it. Shraddha Kapoor the one artist whom I adore a lot from recent generation but sadly she has nothing to give much.

To cut short, don’t go for it, not recommended.

FAN is just an inept case for #Shah Rukh Khan

Verdict: 2 /5 stars

It’s a long awaited for movie aficionados but certainly not opens with the boom. What a setback for SRK that people started leaving the theater before climax. May the concept was good or intriguing for many but the whole make was so funny that you can’t ignore the mistakes. After so long SRK’s this doppelganger draw some attention because of its dialogues and the look, which he mirrored, plummets only because of the makeup, which has continuously a visible continuity jerk. They are unable to maintain the similar look, after every minute one can easily identify that he is SRK.

A very mediocre film unlike the other SRK’s flicks but this has only one particular shades which is Red (revenge), otherwise all his previous movies has intermittent color splashes, I appreciate Mr. SRK for taking this subject but this only boosts him with arrogance as to showcase himself as Badshah Khan. Nevertheless, Rahul Chandna from Delhi has almost similar attire like star Aryan Khanna, living all along with him, just from childhood, having dream in mind that one day he will meet his God. He won money after performing SRK’s acts and goes WT (without ticket) just like his star, even took the same room where once his star stayed in his struggling days, but his all goody-goody contemplation got eliminated after having first glimpse of Aryan Khanna, a day even after all exertions he was unable to meet him, but he is does not ended here and not even a film, it drags more with all expected turns and twists. I am not going into details of story.

“Bina Gaane Ka Shah Rukh Khan”, really, he adopted RGV’s (Ram Gopal Verma) way to go without any songs, so now the performance has to be measured but sorry to say that I got nothing in this area also, although poorly executed scenes are just a headache.

So the outcome is as mediocre as the film, nothing special that sparks you even a bit, sitting on a red lounge getting yawns, feeling sleepy, it’s all about feeling cozy in the AC theatre, passing more than 2hrs in this devilish summer was just an Eden for me.

If you are real FAN of SRK then go and sleep over.

Just a tinny idea not busted as a full story - #Ki & Ka is simply misogynist from inside…

Verdict: 2 /10 stars

This theory leaves you flummoxed because any which way the promotional activity didn’t push you to think like that. And even with first petite logic it did not push my thought that R Balki’s Ki & Ka has swiftly mussing me to think differently. Ki & Ka vociferously ensconced on the other side of establishment that why only women should only be subjugated into the kitchen, a so-called male should also lead a life as a housewife. This idea is really interesting, isn’t it?

So this is clear after looking at its promotional clip that this will be going to spice one particular gender for sure and if it is a product of R Balki then there is no chance for worries, but this case scribbles me from my earlier view of him.  This is true that Shamitabh brings another spectrum to Amitabh’s voice; even if, it fails to draw much attention.

Kabir (Arjun Kapoor) “Ka” is a son of Delhi’s biggest builder, happens to meet Kia (Kareena Kapoor Khan) “Ki” in local flight, their friendship amplified by some nasty conversations. Kabir’s thought about importance of his mother is more than what his father’s ambitions… An IIM topper confined to become a househusband like his mother, a real artist, who devoted her complete self unconditionally for his father, without giving a second thought. So it’s very simple that Kabir wants to be like a mother, on the other hand Kia (Ki) is super ambitious female whose is totally clear about her she in her life.  And how this union ignites the world of male is the motto behind this make.

But unfortunately R Balki was unable to blow the old ashes of being a misanthrope, he precisely drawn a feministic line around the flick but as a whole he missed the plot and settled it as a male oriented swing, ultimately he portrays the male protagonist as decision maker whether he is working out side or as a househusband, they are superior in any which way… I loved the film until then where Kabir happily involved in all saga of house work but, when director shows that a person who is moving on roller skates, designed the whole interior of Kia house as his way of living, after some time you felt also that Kareena is locked under his paraphernalia, She is just an sex object who prefer to enjoy her life in the den of other… secondly, she is not even a decision maker like male, here she is even not like the normal women who though doesn’t enjoy a financial independence, yet carries voice. He is the one who is rolling the wheel.
Loosely tossed script destroyed the essence of this movie for sure, may be director wants us to think simply but as I mentioned earlier it is not as simple which conjures ones mood… His concept is to show that this is altogether a effect of chair not a gender who defines the rules. So if the chair is with female, she also behaves similar as male…. That’s it!

Two songs are listenable, Kareena Kapoor Khan is natural, but I have sincere problem with Arjun Kapoor in this role, he is not convincing at all, he looks so bulky and lousy which distracted me a lot.

I am not interested in this concept for sure, that’s why not adopting this idea seamlessly.
